Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Dave, and I run Clear Blue Pools. I come from an extensive leisure industry background, and I have worked with swimming pools for over 6 years. I started the business to answer a call for a personalised service for pool and hot tub/spa owners in the local areas. After working professionally in the wet leisure sector, I decided to go freelance and start my own business. My aim is to provide a comprehensive service for existing pool owners and managers with a personal touch. I am fully ISRM*¹ qualified and registered with RoPPPs*². In addition, I also hold the ISRM National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, and I have worked as a lifeguard and first aider; this gives me a unique and experienced standpoint on swimming pool use and health and safety. During my time in the leisure industry I have dealt with almost everything a pool could throw at me, and often in situations under pressure.
